Nestled in the Conejo Valley, Thousand Oaks is the second-largest city in Ventura County. It is approximately 35 miles from Los Angeles and less than 15 miles from Warner Center. Thousand Oaks was named after the many oak trees that grow in the area, and the city seal is adorned with an oak tree.
